Kendyl Strickland
Principal
Kendyl is the principal partner and owner of Strickland & Company, P.C., a full-service CPA firm in Atlanta, GA. Strickland & Company was founded in 1992 and has a 30-year record of servicing clients nationwide. The firm specializes in small businesses and individual tax return preparation, tax planning, business consulting, and accounting/bookkeeping support. The Strickland & Co team includes multiple licensed CPAs, a former CFO, multiple Certified QuickBooks professionals, sales tax and payroll experts, & more. Strickland & Company is a member of AICPA and GSCPA.
Kendyl has held an active CPA license been a Registered Investment Advisor since 1988. Kendyl graduated from Valdosta State University in 1980 and began his career working for Lanigan & Associates, P.C. in Thomasville, Georgia. He became a partner in 1987 and the following year moved to Atlanta, Georgia 1988 to open a branch office. In 1992, Kendyl purchased the accounting practice from his partners and Strickland & Company was formed.
Kendyl also owns an investment advisory and wealth management practice, Strickland Davis Advisors, LLC, which he founded in 1999. Strickland Davis Advisors, LLC represents customers of Strickland & Company, P.C., and its clients range from individual retirement accounts, 401K plans, and individual investment accounts. Our niche market is preparing detail financial plans for our clients, which allows us to determine the proper asset allocation of the investments.
For many years, Kendyl taught a continuing education class at Emory University and Kennesaw State University titled “How to Manage A Successful Small Business”. Kendyl has also done numerous speaking engagements.
Kendyl and his wife live in Marietta, Georgia with their two yorkies. They have two grown sons and five grandchildren.
